Anatoliy (Toli) Zaslavskiy is a Senior Frontend Engineer at Dropbox with a passion for writing infrastructure frontend code that enables frontend teams to scale quickly and seamlessly. He specializes in creating tooling, libraries, and architecture that reduces bugs and technical debt, and most importantly, enables engineers to work on what they truly enjoy. Toli strongly believes that culture is more than just a buzzword. He understands that each engineer is unique, with their own strengths, weaknesses, passions, needs, and motivations. Engineers work best when they are in flow, and Toli leads implementing strategies and policies that help boost engineer interaction, participation, and satisfaction. He fosters a team culture where egos can truly be dropped, creating states of flow where feedback is seen as just that - feedback, a mechanism to help each other, the product, and company grow. Before joining Dropbox, Toli worked as a Founding Engineer at Novel, where he implemented Smart Contract/OpenGSN for gas-free NFT purchases. He also worked on expanding what’s possible in the NFT ecosystem and bringing NFTs to Shopify. At Hover Inc., Toli served as a Senior R&D Frontend Engineer, where he wrote, developed, and refactored libraries. He also developed complex platforms for calculating building material needed for construction and visualizing houses with different materials. Toli holds a degree in Computer Science from New York University and attended Bronx Science for high school. He also attended MS 180 for middle school. Toli has 7.70 years of relevant experience and is proficient in Frontend, NFT, Web3, Smart Contract, infra, test, and Javascript.
